How to Re-lace a Corset

 

Your Ma Corsetière corset will come with satin ribbon lacing. There may be times where you need to re-lace your corset. The photo below shows the example of the 'bunny-ear' method. This method is done using one long length of ribbon that ties at both the bottom and waistline.  All tightening ("lacing down") is done at the waistline. You will need someone to help you lace-up your corset. Corsets without a front busk may have to be laced when placed up against the body. You are welcome to trim the ribbons once you are laced in.
